Who is the ENFJ?

ENFJ is an abbreviation used to refer to one of 16 personality types. It belongs to The Optimists group, which shares the traits NF. The letters refer to four basic preferences that belong to this profile: Extraversion, Intuition, Feeling, Judging. The personality types theory was conceived by the Swiss psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung at the beginning of the 20th century. From his work, Katharine Cook Briggs and his daughter Isabel Briggs Myers developed the personality types indicators which have inspired our work.

The first preference is Extraversion (E)

The ENFJ, as an Extravert, is extremely friendly, talkative and brilliant. He loves interacting with others and being in the spotlight. Indeed, he prefers to recharge by being amongst people rather than spending time by himself. He’s stimulated by fast-paced and busy environments. Moreover, he likes to collaborate with others and listen to others opinions and ideas.

 

The second preference is Intuition (N)

The ENFJ, as an Intuitive type, takes in information through is instinct. He focuses on the big picture looking at the future and forgets about the here-and-now. He values imagination and inspiration. Indeed, he has an abstract nature that leads him to always reading between the lines. Moreover, when making decisions he’s able to remove himself from the situation and find the most logical solution.

 

The third preference is Feeling (F)

The ENFJ, as a Feeling type, seeks harmony and avoids conflict at all costs. His heart rules everything he does. He makes decisions based on his personal principles and values and then starts analysing the objective facts. When making choices, the feeler thinks about the welfare of people involved. Moreover, he has an high emotional intelligence and he’s very tactful towards others. Indeed, he emphasizes with the other people’s reality to understand their perspectives and points of view.

 

The fourth preference is Judging (J)

The ENFJ, as a Judger, wants to be in full control of his life. He seeks structure and a set schedule. Indeed, the judging type likes to be organized and follow rules and expectations. He also likes to have one task at a time with a deadline to meet. Indeed, he focuses on his goal until he reaches it.
